in the oil spill

vivid as plastic

a cormorant’s eye

algae bloom weeping red

making weather 

road-leaping flames

lick at blisters 


bombogenesis an original destruction story


comfortable sofa

the news comes live

from a basement bunker

press blitz

the broadcast

goes dead
